Psychics do consult other psychics. In my experience there are many reasons why : to test them or to receive an actual reading. Being a young psychic I have encountered negative reactions from other (mostly older) psychics. I have also encountered positive reactions.
I personally don’t feel any competitive nature or negativity towards other psychics. I have received readings from other psychics although I could have done many of those readings myself. Sometimes I do get blocked trying to do my own readings because of anxiety or other emotions that can block a reading. Just because I have psychic abilities doesn’t mean another psychic doesn’t have anything to offer me. We all have different gifts. We are all psychics.
I really love to receive readings from others. It lets me know that I am on the right path, takes away anxiety I may have about a situation, and simply lets me know I was right all along even if I didn’t want to hear it.
I had my first psychic reading before I came into my abilities. The psychic was male and not a “professional”. He was someone that I never met before. I couldn’t resist the thrill. The reading was free, after all. He told me I had psychic abilities that I was afraid of exploring. That happened to be very true at the time. I was also a bit skeptical of things unknown because I used to see all these psyhic & new age types on TV and they looked rich and famous to me. They looked like a bunch of frauds. I automatically thought they were frauds because they charged so much money. I also didn’ t think anyone could tell the future at the time. I had a lot to learn.
The 2ND time I consulted a psychic I was in a deep emotional pain about a past situation. This lady did not know me yet. She was a professional psychic. She told me all I really needed to hear. I have also had many tarot and angel readings in between that that were accurate.
I have gave dozens and dozens of readings to clients and also traded with many psychics.
