Psychics do consult other psychics. In my experience there are many reasons why : to test them or to receive an actual reading. Being a young psychic I have encountered negative reactions from other (mostly older) psychics. I have also encountered positive reactions.

If you have an alternative religious path and you want to “come out” to friends and family it can be a very scary thing. Everyone has different situations. I am not going to pretend like it is easy.

My parents know about my beliefs (mostly) because I have always been outspoken and experimental. Everything & anything I ever could have done to shock them I have done.

If you are ready to “come out” I suggest the things that I have done. Brace yourself! Test the waters first. See what your family and friends think of people like you first. If you get a negative reaction don’t let that scare you off. Plan what you are going to say even though you might not say exactly what you planned to. It’s best to be prepared.

Meditate, pray, or do a ritual that will help calm you down before your big day.

Tell your friends first. You can tell them all at once or one by one.  Be careful who tell especially when it comes to friends. People can get nasty and stab you in the back (something a true friend wouldn’t do). Take the time to educate them and dispel any myths.
